The Green Lake Foundation
The Green Lake Foundation
In 2002, the Board of the Green Lake Church of Seventh-day Adventists established the Green Lake Foundation to generate long-term financial support for the ongoing ministry, service and outreach goals of the Green Lake Church. The church serves the physical, social, and spiritual needs of its members and the greater Seattle community.
The foundation is dedicated to the purposes of the congregation and exists to allow members and friends of the church to contribute funds and assets to advance the mission of the church. Specifically, the Foundation’s goal is to create endowment funds that support the ongoing priorities, needs, and special projects of the church. The Green Lake Foundation is approved under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is recognized as a 509(a)(3) public foundation.
By establishing the foundation, the church seeks to accommodate those individuals who have expressed a desire to give directly to the church.
